This company called repeatedly to get me to try their recip blades. I told them each and every time that I was NOT interested. Didn't listen and just sent the stupid blades - which I NEVER ordered. Then sent an invoice for $149.50.

Tried to contact them via phone but it goes to an automated system and I've never been able to speak to anyone. I have sent invoices back telling them I didn't order the darn things.

Next someone called me and said if I didn't order them I would need to pay to ship them back to them and I told them that there was no way I was going to pay to return something that I didn't order in the first place.

Next came an email asking why I wasn't paying the invoice. Again, I explained that I didn't order the d**n things...wasn't going to pay to ship them back...and have NEVER been able to talk to anyone on their phone system. Never heard back.

About a week later I get a phone message with this guy yelling and screaming at me [calling me names and everything] about paying this bill or he's going to report me.

I'm NOT paying for something I didn't order in the first place which were crap anyway and I'm NOT paying to ship the d**n things back to them either. I'm going to file a complaint in California about there practices.

i purchased a faulty tool from ace industrial and after many phone calls and frustration i finally talked to a decent man and he said he will have ups pick up the tool and send it back, and that i wont have to pay any shipping. he assured me that he'll make sure i get a refund but im worried they'll get the tool back and won't send my money back and we'll have paid for nothing. whats your take on this?

After years of working here I learned the in's and out's of the company. The salesmen call new or existing customers telling them that they are going to give them free tools for being a good customer but they ask that in return they buy a couple hundred blades, wheels, or whatever they are selling at the time. The customer has 3 ways to pay for this product : 1. Credit card 2. C.O.D 3. 30 day open billing. After the customer orders something the customer is then called back within 24 hours by the verification department to make sure that the Salesmen actually sold the tools to someone and is not just shipping them out to nowhere. Once verified the salesman will get paid on the order...depending on the experience the salesman can make from 10% to 30 or 35% commisson on the total price of the order. When the Shipping department ships the package out they not only add on shipping and tax (depending on state) but they also add something called S.T.C. Which they say stands for State Tranfser Fund...or as the salesmen call it "Screw The Customer" because the salesmen get paid half of this charge for all of their orders once a month...and the owner gets the other half. If it is a Credit card order you can call your credit card company and have them stop the payment then call the company and demand that they send a Call Tag to pick the Tools up (This will come out of the salesman's check). If it is a C.O.D order you can simply turn it away and then you'll receive many phone calls about them trying to send the package back out to you...and they may even drop the price to get it back to you...Just say no. If you end up buying tools on a 30 day open billing then you will have to jump through some hoops. You will have to call and complain...ask for a call tag (which is their last resort) and if they still don't pay for it to be sent back...the most you will have to do without paying for the items is just pay for the shipping back. At least then you will not be reponsible for the price of the tools. Some of their product is decent...their prices are triple what they should be and if a salesman calls you with a story about a warehouse being broken into or a flood or earthquake or fire....it's all a great big lie....those prices will be the same the next day....week...and most likely year. The good news is...you can actually talk the salesmen into lowering the prices for you. The lower they go...the less they make.
