This is completely false. It has to be. I signed my lease in July as well, and the people at the rental office definitely gave me two decals for the cars at my apartment. They also informed me of the parking policy as I was signing the lease. On top of that, the parking policy is outlined in the lease and there is a special paper as part of the lease packet that explains the parking policy in detail and says that if you do not adhere to the parking policy, you will be either stickered and towed within 72 hours (pretty lenient, if you ask me) or immediately towed. Not to mention, there are stickers in most of the cars here. SO, my response to this is either your father did not read his lease, did not bother to pay attention to the decals they gave him, or he is too stupid to look around and realize "hmm everyone else has a decal, wonder why I don't have one?" P.S. they send out a bunch of notices on our doors that say you need to come pick up a decal if you haven't already. Personally, I'm glad that they are enforcing the towing policy because I have had a few problems with people parking in the limited spaces in front of my building without decals. That's all done with now, though, thanks to my multiple complaints. Tow 'em out!!!
