Acquisis - The Reward Depot Refuses to send me gift card that was earned in their program Evanston, Illinois
I originally decided to try out this incentive promotion program almost a year ago, in December of 2008. The deal is that I would agree to try out different offers and once confirmed that I did, they would send my a reward in the way of a $500 gift card. Signing up for and trying these offers costs some money and takes a good deal of time. I have been asking this company since January of this year what the status was of my gift card. They usually never respond to these emails asking for an update. When they do, they just keep blowing me off and telling me that I have to wait and that they are delayed. They said on their site, that if an offer you completed has not credited on your status page that you have to wait 105 days before asking them about what happened. That's right, 105 days. So, after I waited 105 days, we finally resolved the issue with the offers not showing on my page. Then I sent in my redemption form to get my gift card. It took them a ridiculously long time to "approve" my form. I got notification many weeks later that I was "approved". They then said delivery should be in 6-8 weeks. 6-8 weeks had passed and there was no gift card. I inquired about this many times since then and week after week they say they are "diligently working on getting my gift card out but they are experiencing delays". All they have to do is mail out a gift card. I have called and left numerous emails. I have all the emails documented and saved. I am convinced this company is an outright scam. And again, here I am almost a full year later from when I completed my end of things with their program and they still have not managed to follow through with what they promised. To send out a little gift card in an envelope.
