ActiveLite Garcinia Cambogia Deceptive Website with false and deceptive Ordering Largo Florida
I was lured to the wwebsite as are many people, by the Dr. Oz information and the desire to find an effctive product to lose weight.
Once there, I was asked to enter my information and the lure of "Buy three get wo free" for the price of 39.00 per bottle...which appeared to be 39.00 for each of the three bottles then 2 free.
After being lead through the site and being "baited" by three or four "special offers", I realized what a scam this was and an preliminary order amount of $147.00 appeared on my smartphone screen. Realizing it was a ripoff, I cancelled and backed out of the order....only to discover that my card had been charged "immediately" for the amount of $148.00. That was Sunday morning at 10:19 am CST.
A phone call to the 888 number said no one was in the customer service center on Sunday.
Called at 9:00 am EST and was walked through a further discount shpeel where they offered to refund me up to $59.00 immediately....but could not cancel my order as it "had already shipped. RIGHT!!! lol
After talking to four people and two supervisors, I am entering this Ripoff Report. I am also filing with the the BBB, Florida Attorney General, Missouri Attorney General and FTC. Will update you on my status.
To the Active Lite folks...all you have to do is two things. Be honest with your website...don't trick people to charge out your product.
2) when people want a refund....grant it without the nonsence and again, straighten out your website. Liars NEVER prosper. All I wanted was an order that I NEVER PLACED and CONFIRMED to be refunded.
