I HAVE BEEN AN ACURA CUSTOMER FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN PLEASED UNTIL NOW. RECENTLY, I SENT IN A LEASE PAYMENT IN WHICH MY BANK INDICATES ACURA RECEIVED IN A TIMELY FASHION. WHEN THE E-CHECK DID NOT CLEAR IN A FEW DAYS I IMMEDIATELY CALLED ACURA TO CONFIRM ACURA ACTUALLY RECEIVED THE CHECK.
UNFORTUNATLY, AFTER ALMOST THREE (3) HOURS ON THE PHONE, HEATHER AT ACURA FINANCIAL SERVICES REFUSED THE ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT MY PAYMENT WHILE AT THE SAME TIME REFUSING TO ADDRESS ANY POTENTIAL ADVERSE CREDIT REPORTING. HEATHER WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. HER VERSION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TO TALK OVER THE CUSTOMER AND THEN TERIMATE THE CALL. SHE MADE NO EFFORT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. VERY DISAPPOINTING. THIS SORT OF CONDUCT FALLS FAR SHORT OF THE CALIBER OF EXCELLENCE ACURA CUSTOMERS DEMAND.

UPDATE: In the space of three days, Acura Financial Services made a disappointing situation much worse.
Since Acura would not acknowledge receipt of my timely payment, I resolved the issue by paying via phone to insure timely payment. After I made timely payment via phone, Acura specifically represented that it would not to deposit the check they claim not to have received yet as it would result in an overpayment.
Three days later, Acura deposited the check despite their specific representation that they would not deposit it, deliberating attempting to collect an overpayment. Recall, they denied receipt of the check three days ago.
This sort of deceptive busiensss practice falls far short of what Acura customers expect.

Just what did you talk to them about for 3 hours, as it seems like you are leaving somethings out.
You can't be reported late on your credit report until you are at least 30 days delinquent. Your title gives the impression you have already been reported, yet your report talks only about "POTENTIAL" issues.
You mentioned nothing about being charged a late fee. How long has it been since you sent the check? How did the bank prove to you that they got it?
Did they truly offer NO solutions, or did they offer solutions but it is not what you wanted?
What did they say they could do? What did you want them to do?
