Adult Friend Finder protects the perpetrators of ID Theft. They might agree that the charge was placed by a person other than the cardholder (admitting the theft) and reverse it, but they will not release any information about the person that placed the charge without a court order. They should be charged as an associate/co-conspirator because they know the charges were not legal yet do nothing to stop this ongoing activity.

Fill out and sign the form from your bank or cc company for a fraudulent charge, not just a disputed charge from a company you have dealt with. Have that credit/debit card immediately cancelled and a new one issued. File a police report on the incident. It is THEFT! Have a fraud alert placed on your accounts with all of your major credit bureaus. New accounts and other suspicious activity will be verified with you before they can be opened. Request a current credit report from them as well to see if any other fraudulent financial activity has taken place.

Sign up for online account access with your bank and credit card companies. Monitor your accounts daily. Question any activity that you did not instigate. DO NOT respond to e-mails from any company (even those that you do business with) that requires you to give your personal information. These are phishing sites and will steal your information. They will use it and sell it to steal from you! Once you are a victim, your information is compromised, and you are likely to become a victim again. Financial is only one of the ways you may be a victim. If a person is using your information for financial purposes, they could also be using it to perpetrate other crimes in your name.

The only way to stop this is by being proactive. The companies may be allowing the fraudulent activity, knowingly or not. The only way to fight it is to take the above steps. Don't just be satisfied with a reversal of the charges. Take it all the way!!
