Advanced Fuller School-Massage VERY EXPENSIVE 10 MINUTES MASSAGE Virgnina Beach Virginia
My son had been complaining of a back ache. I called the massage school and made him an appointment for a 30 minute massage after school. Since I was taking him I thought I might as well have one while I waited.
My son was called in on time at 5pm. I was called at 10 minutes past 5pm. The therapist took me back to the rooms and then left so I could get undressed. At about 515pm he started my back only shoulders and arms only massage ( this I was told is all he had time to do ) He left the room at 525pm so I could get dressed. For $25.00 plus the $5.00 tip it is was the most expensive rub I have every had.
I called this morning to make another appointment for my son at around 2pm. When I picked him up from baseball practice he told me his back was hurting from his actual physical therapy this morning so I called to cancel his appointment. At no time when I booked it did they tell me there was a 12 hour cancelation. The lady told me I had to pay the $20.00 cancel. I said fine and the she kept going on and on about it. I said whatever. I then called back to say I would bring one of my son's friends in if I had to pay the $20.00 anyway. I told her about my last experice and why I had not made an appointment for myself. She told me not to bring anyone tonight and not come back.
That is how she delt with me... So I would say it is a very expensive place to have a very poor massage... As of now we are at $80.00 for 30 minutes of student rubbing.

It was the manager that treated us so awful. I explained to her at the time he was under a doctor's care. Again, the manager did not care. She was rude beyond belief. Your entire staff was unprofessional and rude. I had actually forgotten about the entire event until I was reminded and I will once again tell everyone how we were treated at your business. You should be ashamed of your staff's behavior. It is way too late for an apology. The fact that you are still in business is amazing. Shame on you for the way you run your company and allow customers to be treated.

I was just informed of your complaint on October 30, 2013. I am very sorry you had a bad experience with our school. We do our best to insure everyones experience is excellent. Everything you mention is a concern for us as it's not how we conduct business. If a client receives less than 25 minutes on a half our session, they should receive a refund. Our student rate is $20 for a half hour not $40.
If your son was sore from physical therapy elsewhere we could have helped him and you would not have had to cancel. We do have a late cancellation policy in which the fee of $20 goes to the student for their time that was made unavailable to others by your scheduled appointment.
Two half hour sessions should have cost you $40 total. I do not understand why you paid $80. Something sounds incorrect with the situation. If you would like to discuss this matter please contact the owners and we will make this right.
