advanced lamps complete rip off; charged 75 for overnight shipping but did not send meriden connecticut
I should have done a search for rip-off reports before ordering and maybe I wouldn't be the 22nd report on this company. Obviously this is a pattern and not a one time error. This company is a complete rip-off. I placed an order online and within 2 hours cancelled it as it was the wrong item. They shipped anyway, probably because their delivery fees are more than twice the actual cost so they would make money there and they charge a re-stocking fee so there is another way to make moeny. Just by shipping a cancelled order, they were guaranteed to make money. Secondly, when I placed the order, I asked for overnight delivery to have the lamps in time for a party. Paid $75 for overnight delivery. Again, at least twice the actual cost. And you know what, didn't even get here. Didn't get the lamps for three days. Now, can't even get them to answer the phone or emails about a return. I have requested a RMA but haven't received it. My guess is they are going to see if they can hold me off for 30 days and stick me with the items. This is a company that's only goal is to overcharge people and provide zero customer service. If they can rip you off they will. There is a reason there are 22 complaints on this company. They are horrendous and should be put out of business.
