Advantage Tire & Auto ripoff, uncaring, bad tires Oldsmar Florida
Bought four tires for SUV. Preparing to go on vacation(Driving in the snow) noticed tires very worn. Supposed to be 40 thousand mile tires.
Brought truck in and asked them to look at tires. Confirmed they were worn and asked how often I rotated them. Said; not sure you have done all the service. Sales guy said that I was responsible to rotate every 6,000 miles.
Truck has been serviced by them 6 times since I bought tires. They never mentioned rotation of my tires. There is no mention of 6,000 mile rotation "requirement" on their invoice.
Told them I will be taking my wife and two little boys to the mountains of North Carolina and there will be snow and ice. I wanted to be safe and that new tires were a must.
Told sales guy the wear is unacceptable since I've only put 20,000 miles on truck since tires put on. He said he would see what he could do.
He wanted to sell me 4 tires for $444.00 the discount I was getting was a whopping $30.00 I told him that was not good enough That since I spent about $300.00 last time and only got half the use of the tires I wanted a discount of at least $150.00 he said he could not do that.
Everybody beware, Advantage cares more about short term sales than taking care of their customer. In past 2 years I've spent over $2,0000 there. NO More.
