Aetna harassment Hartford Connecticut
Aetna, after ten years of my disablity, decided to stop my disablity payments. WHY?? Because I decided that the medication was not working and I could not afford the cost on what Aetna was paying. Every new pill that came along was tested on me, and at some point I became a addit. A year ago I was in major withdrawl, and totally unabel to do anything I still have more bad days than good. Mr.David Burke decided to get my attention, by just stopping my check. The fact that I had just talked to these people the month before was to no avail. I had to see another doc. the cost at which Aetna pays nothing, but will grin and say that is not their problem(that would be Ms.Carrie Jo Peters). The doctor I found was not what I wanted, but a pill pusher instead, and since Aetna (Burke) insisted I comply within a 30 day time frame, I could do nothing else.
They still have not settled the $20,000 they owe(they paid $10,000 and said the rest would follow) it was stated in there letter 8 years ago, which I still have. Now I will have to find a lawyer, since they orginally stated payments to continue till the year 2012.
