I am presently employed at Affordable Computer Repair as the Senior Technician, and would like to take the time to debunk the false accusations that have been made from this individual. Being that I am the senior technician, all work orders have to go by me as I have to make all necessary repairs. The above incident in question is completely made up. As I do work on numerous PC's, especially e-machines, I have never made such repairs at said cost. Having been performing repairs, and received formal training in the field, it is impossible for such a misdiagnosis to occur. Our diagnostic fee is not $49, we do not use old parts (especially from 1996 as we do not even carry power supplies that old due to their higher potential for failure), and the said quoted price for all repairs also does not add up. Also, using a little common sense, a power supply that has been in use to work on the system would not expel dust when turned on again at the customers' home. If this individual does exist and has problems, we would be more than happy to address them. Simply give us a call, as our number should appear on the top of our invoice. Any issues or felt discrepancies can be ironed out. We have plenty of references of satisfied customers, both return and new, who would be more than happy to come forward to debunk these accusations.
