I feel like this should be posted under all categories for dentists working for franchised or corporate operations. I've noticed complaints about Western Dental and Affordable dentures. I have experiences with both and have nothing but good things to say about them. I had 6 teeth left on top when I went in but I also had 4 that had rotted and broken off at the gum line that was making life miserable. On top of that, I'm a recluse bordering on agoraphobic, so I was very apprehensive. At my first visit, I waited less than 20 minutes before I was in the x-ray chair, then taken directly to a treatment room. Less than 10 minutes passed before the dentist was explaining the plan of treatment. He explained, in detail, the treatment he recommended. At the front desk, I set up an appointment for the next week. She explain again all the charges and benefits of the package deal they offered. I paid in full. She gave me all the pre-op and post-op instructions, 2 "happy pills" to take before I came in for surgery. To tell the truth, I don't remember the day of the surgery. I found out later that they're also referred to as "amnesia pills" (so how do these people remember a bad experience, they could have used a chain saw on me and I wouldn't know it). The next thing I remember is waking up at home with teeth in my mouth. They did seem small, but I was used to seeing teeth with a receding gum line which made them look larger. As the gums healed and shrank, they used soft linings to keep a proper fit. I never had to wait more than 15 or 20 minutes to get an adjustment. After a year, to the day, I walked in, without an appointment and announced that I was here for my pretty new teeth. At 10:20, the dentist himself was making an impression for the new dentures. He told me to come back at 1 pm. They were fitted and adjusted and I was on my way by 1:30. This is a long post but I felt the details were necessary to make a point. My brother recommended Affordable Dentures because his experience was positive too. My daughter used Western Dental for restoration work and now braces and has received good, fast, professional service. They worked with her on the payment plan, 0% interest btw, so she could pay off her co-pay. The Point is, don't stereo-type. Check out the dentist that will actually be doing the work not the company sign on the building.

My mother, dad, sister, friends, neighbors, and myself have gone to this business and have nothing but good things to say about Affordable Dentures. Yes, when you get there in the morning it is crowded and most of the time standing room only. Yes you have to wait to get to the back and yes, the same people who are there in the mornings are there in the afternoon to get their dentures. That is why they say same day service. There is no way they can make your dentures while you sit in the chair. Most dental offices take from 3 to 6 months before delievery of your dentures. They pull, stitch, impressions, and make your dentures in the 9 hour day they put in. Yes, I got my dentures from affordable dentures and was in the door at 6:45 and on my way home with dentures in place by 2pm the same day. I think that is a good deal. I have worn the same dentures for 6 years now and getting ready to have a new set made. $400 vs. $1000 and 7 hours vs. 180 days is saying a lot for this company. Maybe they do make a flaw once in awhile but who doesn't make mistakes. Apparently some people feel as though mistakes never happen or shouldn't happen well, welcome to reality mistake are make by people each and everyday of the year. Would I give this company as a good deal or good business? YES, I would give them an "A" when you put them up againest the local millionare dentist who does nothing but stick them in your mouth and has you look in a mirror to see if you like what you see. What would you do if you didn't like what you seen? He is making boo koo bucks off you all for just putting them in you mouth.
