Complaint Review: Affordable Flat Rate Moving LLC - Boca Raton Florida

Update: He actually came with a TV he provided to replace. Mine said he would be here at 10:30 p.m he winded up showing up at 11. :00 we plugged the TV in that TV was broken. He goes. I'll be back in 15 minutes then sends me a text saying he's going to come tomorrow morning at 8:30. I told him it was early but okay. Not a text not nothing. Stay far away. Avoid. It's not worth the headache to save a few bucks.

I hired this moving company Flat Rate Moving LLC that I saw on Craigslist. His name is Stanley and I called another company as well. And for speaking with him on the phone and him telling me his prices I thought it was great so I booked him. Not only was he an hour late he started off by telling me he had to leave by 3:00 cuz he has another job and I said how can you finish it in 2 hours. That started my stress. He eventually told me he sent somebody else on the job and I was all his and the other two guys. He than also informed me and didn't tell me prior there was a 4 hour min plus one hour of driving. Even if didn't like it was too late an hour before move scheduled. I told him to be extra careful with the TVs because I had an issue in the past where one was broken. I was moving out of my apartment and had them move a few blocks my stuff into storage. I didn't watch over them. I temporarily checked into a hotel until I find a new apartment. Because the television in the room is not a smart TV. I couldn't stream any of my channels. I decided to go to storage and take one of the TVs. The first one that was closest to me. I brought it back to the hotel and I plugged it in. It was broken, not a parent but under the screen there is no picture. I thank God I did this because if I didn't I wouldn't have known about it for another month or two and it would have been too late. I contacted Stanley at 7548370052 I actually thought it would be a hassle and he said to me strangely. Don't worry I have other TVs I can replace it with. I never heard anything like this but I said fine. I have a 55-in smart Roku TV. He's like I have something better. It's a real cool but it's an LG and it's a 65-in. I said that's great. He said it's almost new. I said that's great if you can replace it. And then all of a sudden the text messages stopped but we're very slow. He told me he wasn't in Florida but he was coming back and then he was in Florida the next day. So I just asked him when will you come to me to give me the TV. Just give me a time so I can figure out my schedule. He slowly stopped responding. Even though his ad says he has insurance and that would be the normal way to go through this, but I was accepting his offer of just giving me a new TV. Again, he stopped to replying. I told him I don't understand because you would have had the job to move me out of storage of losing that money and if I leave bed reviews you're going to lose any potential money that you would get from other customers when they read this. He didn't look at the bigger picture I guess and didn't care. I'm forced to do this on this website and many others. So other customers can beware avoid this Merchant. This mover at all costs. If anything is stolen or broken my experience with him it won't be good. He says to me after he told me he was going to give me the TV. Why would you go to storage even though I told them and take it out. And I told him because the TV I had in the room wasn't a smart TV. I couldn't watch my DVR shows and other extreme programs and since it was so close I went and decide to go get it. But actually I'm glad I did again. Otherwise I wouldn't have known for months or until I hooked it up. So for whatever reason God made me go pick that TV up because it is broken. I said I have it. You can look at it, take it, throw it out. I don't care. It's a brand new TV, probably 6 to 8 months old. I don't need this headache lying that the TV was broken when it wasn't. I'm using the keywords below to help Google find this ad. So if anybody on Google types in this moving company name the phone number to contact him that we exchange text messages on or the phone number to send them money via Zelle. If I could just save one person from this happening then it was all worth it.
