It's great that some attorney is going after this company, BUT before you or anyone else start giving out to personal information, that will be needed, ssn#, copies of credit report, ect. You need to make sure, you are dealing with a real attorney! If you email this person, before you give any information, get a phone number, complete address, where is he license, bar number, what type of law, does he do. name of firm, how long have you been a lawyer. then check the information you received, before you do anything I wouldn't put it pass some of these collection agency's, one of the collectors law firms or the skip tracers they have, to pull something. Are you being ask to mail your information to a P.O. Box or give everything on line? If so I don't think that would be worth the risk.
