I noticed my account was overdrawn and I hadn't been using my card so I checked and it showed a $15.58 withdrawal for AIC motor club. I'd never heard of this. I contacted my bank first and canceled my card and then called Allstate. They said the AIC mc was a different affiliate and gave me a number to call. I called what had to be a call center and they said I had gotten this from a telemarketer 11 months ago. They had been charging me for almost a year! I don't have a landline and only use my cell, so there's no way a telemarketer called me and I definitely would have hung up on them. They said all they would do is cancel my service but I couldn't get a refund! I argued until I was blue in the face but the guy just kept saying the same thing over and over! I'm afraid my bank will think I have ordered this and not refund me. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do?
