On 10/29/07 I received a telephone solicitation call - on a do not call number. If I made a small investment of $150 [refundable] I could sell credit card transaction machines, services, etc. and receive a commission on every charge sell that customer made. I would receive a free web site with the purchase. I would not have do any face-to-face selling.

Within days after signing up, I received another call (11/26/07) on my do not call number, to purchase an advertising package for selling the BankCard Empire products. After speaking with the Bradon Lucus (Scottsdale, AZ) for over an hour, I received what I thought were honest answers to all of my questions. I was assured that I would get 2 to 5 responses and they would more than pay for my investment plus I would get continuing monthly commissions. I was told I would never be successful selling the BankCard Empire products without using their advertising program which included radio and TV spots, mass mailing and call blast follow-up calls. The total cost of this advertising package was $4,900. I checked out BBB, with satisfactory report, read what I could find on the internet and was satisfied that this was a legitimate company. I am retired and needed to make additional money, so I made the investment.

After several months I received no responses. I called them and was told that it would take time. The entire advertising package had not been run yet. Almost every month, I called and was assured that I should obtain leads and commissions, most others had. If the advertising package did not succeed, they would rerun the entire package at no charge. I was assured I would not loose any money with this program.

Over the following months, I spoke to Tom Mooney - Sr. Acct. Rep., Ryan Kihn - Advanced Coaching Rep., Becky, Tim, Kim, Starla - some several times. I requested a refund of my investment and received no response. I wrote a letter requesting a refund and received no response. I called several times and was finally told that there was no refund for the advertising package, but that they would re-run the package at no charge because they did not want me to loose money. They would have to have corporate check out my account and they would get back to me. No return call. I called today and can no longer get through on the 877-277-3597 number. Something had changed.

I am convinced that I have been ripped-off and have lost $5,050 investment. I will be reporting this to the government as well. I do not believe I will ever see that money again.
