It seems that Air Purifiers Superstore does not exist. I paid them 379.00 for an ozone generator, through PayPal. They said I would receive a tracking number shortly.

I never recieved a tracking number so I tried to call their "customer service" phone number several times. All I got was a recording saying "I can't take your call right now." I called their local phone number and got the same recording. I left messages but they never returned my calls. I emailed them but they never responded.

The phone recording does not even say Air Purifiers Superstore or even the name of a Customer Store Representative. Their Website is impressive and looks like a legitimate business but they are ghosts, shady scam artist preying on hard working people.

My loss, your gain if you happen to read this!

Air Purifiers Superstore .com Merchandise Received!

#2Author of original report

I finally received my merchandise, and it does work well. In all fairness, here is the response I received from the owner of the Company. I hope Sergio gave Mike Alcantara the office manager, a good kick in the pants as he was very rude when he finally did respond when I threatened to file a complaint with the Attorney General. None of this had to happen if only they would have responded to my emails and phone calls. I can understand shipping delays and other problems but when the company refuses time after time to address my concerns or even answer my calls or emails, I'm thinking I was being ripped off! Why wouldn't you just call me back to explain the situation? Sorry Sergio, your office manager is costing your company money not me. I think it's time for a new customer service oriented office manager. Hello Janet, My name is Sergio Alcantara, owner of Ionic Zone and Air Purifiers Superstore. I've been in the IAQ industry for over 7 years and am IAQ certified. I have several other business ventures besides these websties that help people find cost effective solutions to many health related issues. I was told by our operating manager Mike that a report you filed on a Website called "rip-off report" has cost us several sales. Hard to believe given our good reputation, customer base. and fair prices, but that's what I'm being told. I read your report and understand your frustration with not being able to contact us via the phone. This is not acceptable and I turned things around on Mike and told him that had he answered the phone as he's supposed to, maybe this report wouldn't exist. His excuse is that our secretary/bookkeeper is on maternity leave and he's having to do more than he usually has to do. To me, that's not an excuse. I would personally appreciate it if you could post an "update" to your previous article stating that you did receive your product, albeit late, and that the reason we gave was that the Olympics caused delays in China's customs. Any words to retract the original "rip-off" label would be appreciated as well. I assure you we're a legit business (over 12,000 past customers and growing daily). IonicZone.com is also listed in the top 10 for the google search term "air purifiers" which is reserved for older, well established websites and companies especially for that popular search term. A side note, we no longer sell the IZ-3500MG model. We grew frustrated over the delays ourselves and are now paying more to have our product made in a Nevada facility so these types of delays are now a thing of the past. We now put timers in our ozone machines. Your 5 year warranty however is still valid as we will continue to stock all parts for our older models. Our new made in the USA ozone machines use the same ozone elements and generators as your product by the way. I apologize once again for the poor service and slow shipment of your product. I feel worse however that our company is losing money because of this so called consumer website that allows customers to permanently damage (they don't allow removal of reports) a companies reputation in a moment of anger. Exposing rip-off websites is a good thing, but being labeled a 'rip-off" when you're main objective is to help customers save money is, well, something else. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. Best Regards, Sergio Alcantara Ionic Zone www.ioniczone.com

What a joke

This is amazing. A website exists where customers can slam a legit business with whatever type of slander they want and drive customers away, thus costing said business thousands of dollars away. In this case, the customer received their ozone machine a little late, in about 3 weeks, because we had to have the unit shipped from the factory in China. At the time, the Olympics were in full swing and China customs was swampped. Things that usually took 5-10 days were taking 3 weeks. We provided this customer with a tracking number and let her know about the delay. We no longer have shipping delays because we now make our ozone machines in Nevada from solid state parts bought from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, and here in the USA. We did feel bad it took up to 3 weeks for some of our customers who had to have units shipped from China when we ran out stock, waiting for our next shipment of units. We feel worse however that this type of report can exist to harm our business and we will do what we can to remedy this situation as we are not a "rip-off" or sham company and are highly offended by this website.
