AJACO TOWING INC . THEY TOOK TOTAL ADVANTAGE OF US!! Parsippany New Jersey
Our tractor broke down. We unhooked the trailer, put out the cones, and bobtailed to the nearest repair shop. Ajaco Towing came by and called the police reporting a downed trailer and towed it to their shop without even so much as a phone call to notify us. We returned to the place where the trailer was left to retrieve it only to find it gone. Just so happened the police was there. We asked if he could try to locate it for us. He went on his radio and found out that it had indeed been towed. We went to the police station to get the release, we had to wait about an hour and a half because the paperwork had not even been turned in. Once we got it we called the tow yard to let them know that we were on our way to pickup our trailer, they told us that the paperwork was not in yet and we could not get it until tomorrow. We told them that we have a release from the police, they then told us to call back at 3pm. At 3pm we went up to the tow yard only to be met by a man on the porch telling us that we cant get our trailer until tomorrow. We told him that we spoke with a person and was told to call back at 3. We are from GA and we have a delivery to make with the trailer. After much debate they came back with the bill of $4,437.00. This is outrageous they made up charges to charge us and told us that we cannot get our trailer until we pay this extravagent amount of money. Mind you they did not have the trailer for 5 HOUR TOTAL.
