 I filed a rebate claim back in May for purchase of contact lenses. When I didn't hear anything back I tried checking the status of my claim on their website, only to not be able to find anything. After finally getting ahold of someone there in October they told me my claim had been denied for not identifying the date of purchase (which was listed both on the receipt that was sent in and the actualy rebate claim).

They processed the claim, but 6 weeks later I only received a $30 card in the mail, when the rebate was for $100.  I tried emailing the company (as their offices were closed by the time I get home from work) and received an email back saying the email address was not valid, even though this is the address listed on their "contact us" page on their website. 

When I called the next day to talk to someone, all they had to say was it was processed incorrectly and they would send out a card for $70 in the next batch that was processed. They were unable to explain the original denial of my claim and over 6 months later I am still waiting for my full rebate amount.

This company seems to be trying to get by without paying valid rebates, hoping consumers forget about filing a rebate and never check back.
