I purchased an American Bulldog on 1/19/2015 around 5pm from All About Puppies located at 13705 North Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL 33618.  On 1/20/2015 around 9pm we noticed the puppy was not acting herself and began vomiting all over our house.  We called the following morning to the vet that was associated with the pet store Santa Cruz in Brandon, FL.  We brought our puppy for an examination on 1/21/2015 in which we learned that our new puppy had pneumonia.  The Vet explained how serious this condition was for our puppy and stated that if we did not bring her in she may have died.  The vet kept her all day on 1/21/2015 administering breathing treatments, and injecting her with heavy antibiotics and sent her home with us as they do not offer nighttime care at Santa Cruz.  I brought the puppy back today 1/22/2015 and learned that she has now been diagnosed with tonsilitis.  Our puppy is spending the day at Santa Cruz today to undego additional breathing treatments. Also, Santa Cruz Vet is about 40 minutes from our home so this is a major inconvenience.

I contacted ALL ABOUT PUPPIES on 1/20/2015 to explain what was going on.  They told me I would have to contact customer service and let them know.  I left a message and after 9 hours (even though I said it was an emergency) I received a call back.  I spoke with the owner who was nothing but ignorant and tried to pass herself off as a Veterinarian.  I explained the inconvenience of having to take 2 days off from work to transport the puppy back and forth to the Vet and the fact that we now have to administer multiple antibiotics to the puppy daily to hopefully cure her.  The puppy is on 4 antibiotics 2 times per day for 3 weeks.  The owner said "well that's what happens when you buy puppies, they get sick just like your kids get sick and if your kid is sick you have to take a day off from work to deal with their sickness.  I replied "I am not sure what country you are from however, in America we don't buy children we buy puppies who are expected to be healthy especially at the high price you charge".  Her reply was that instead of taking the puppy back and forth to the vet I could go to Walgreens and for $50 I could purchase a nebulizer and I could administer the breathing treatments to the puppy rather than use the vet.  {If in fact I had listened to her advise I would never have known the puppy had tonsilitis and this could have resulted in further medical attention down the road.}  I became irate at this point and asked her if she was a Vet.  She replied no but I have been doing this for 27 years.  So I advised her that unless she was a Vet she should not be recommending medical treatments on animals unless she went to school to learn about it.  She then said well if you don't want to deal with a sick puppy bring her back and I will give you a refund.  I explained that was not an option as the puppy was purchased for my son (who was recently adopted from foster care) and this would traumatize him and could possibly make him think if he got sick we would give him back too.  She didn't care to listen to my answer and just kept saying there was nothing she was willing to do.  What a cold-hearted person she is especially knowing the situation as I explained.  I would highly advise everyone not to purchase anything from this store as they are not reputable and the way they are choosing to handle this is absolutely appauling.
