Complaint Review: All My Sons Moving & Storage - Carrollton Texas

This was a complete nightmare. Your movers were unprofessional, sorry, lazy, and disrespectful. They were cussing one another out during the entire move, and to make matters worse in front of my 8 year old daughter. It took 5.25 hours to move basically a one bedroom apartment as I didn't even have them move my daughter’s room. The price I was FORCED to pay was $750.00.

My furniture is damaged the movers had sweat dripping all over my silk chairs which are now ruined. My couch is messed up from being dragged on the ground, and my leather chair was wrapped in shrink wrap, and put in the back of a hot truck, to only get ruined. When my boxes that were clearly marked FRAGILE were unloaded, they were put under other heavy boxes. They were too incompetent to not know that you do not put boxes on top of other boxes labeled FRAGILE. Thank God I came out of my garage when they were dragging my couch on the ground. I told them they could have went out of my patio door, and the response I received was " What the @#%$, I wish you would have told us that earlier."  They were cursing each other out the entire time calling each other lazy, saying that the other didn't know what they were doing, telling one another they were taking too long.

To make matters worse, the guy William that runs the place is just as incompetent as the people that work there. He tried to tell me that from our last move with them we had 3 men, and it took just about as long as this move so to him the price was fair, and the time was accurate. Common sense would have told him the last move was a 3 bedroom house, and this was basically a one bedroom move with 2 guys and there was no reason it should have taken as long. Moving from the 3 bedroom house was cheaper than moving to an apartment. Distance isn’t even a factor so drive time had nothing to do with it. What does that tell you?  Do the math people. All my sons is a rip off!!!!! William had the audacity to tell me that the discount I received was fair, although my total was still $750.00 for a one bedroom move. I was also told that they were doing me a favor by letting me file a claim for my items, and getting a discount because they normally do not let customers do that. Newflash here.....you damaged my stuff, and the service was awful!!!! I'm entitled to both.

The Dallas Mavericks ought to be ashamed to sponsor this horrible company. I am going to do everything in my power to get the word out that you guys are horrible, unprofessional, and treat customers like crap as though you are doing them a favor when they pay you for a service. Hopefully by contacting the BBB, news outlets, and so forth I can help the next person moving to go with a more reputable company, and not being taking advantage of.   My belongings were in perfect condition before All My Sons touched moved them. If I were the father, I'd be embarrassed to have you all as sons. To make matters worse, thank God my Attorney was at my house when they unloaded because they tried to get me to sign something that said all of my goods were received, but the mover left off the “and in good condition” part. I scratched through the good condition part because my stuff is damaged. You say you are the number one moving company....yeah in my opinion you got that right...#1 in being the worst ever, #1 in damaging customers items, #1 in taking advantage of time and customers.
