Allegiance Liars, rip-off, scamp, telemarketers Kalamazoo Michigan
I applied to this company under the pretense that it was marketing. I was hired on the spot, no drug test, nothing. When I was hired they knew that I did not have a vehicle. I was willing to arrive early and wait for my shift to start. I wasn't allowed to get there early, because the "manager" didn't wish to arrive early. I was told to come in 30 mins later every day, which took time off of my timesheet.
There was no marketing. We had to call the elderly up and try to convince them to sign up for this insurance. We had to ask them very personal medical questions. We were not allowed to be polite, we had to talk to them like they claim you call and ask for a friend. I told them that I talk to everyone on the phone the same way. I was told it wasn't acceptable. I was raised to have manners and respect for people older than me. I do not call someone that is old enough to be my grandmother by their first name. It is rude and disrepectful.
Anyways, it was winter time. Yes, I was told if I asked someone would meet me at the bus so I didn't have to walk in the weather. My bus arrived every day at the same time, why did I have to call? Anyways, one day I get to work and nobody is there. I waited a good 30 minutes in 18 degree weather. Ice is all over the road, I almost fall several times walking. I finally left and walked back to the bus. Over 1 hour after I was suppose to be at work I get a phone call asking me where I'm at.
I told them that it was unsafe to walk in that kind of weather and asked if they were willing to pay for my bills if I fell. I asked if I could work from home. They told me the only way I could work from home is if I went to commission.
They not only lied about the job, they lied about everything else. I never did any marketing and my last paycheck over half was taken from me, even though I put in the hours.
This place is a rip off as are so many others now days and they need to be shut down.
One lady had been there for several months, one day she was pulled into the office and told that there was something on her background and they were letting her go. Uh? We do not get credit card numbers, and why were they just now looking at her background? They only wanted the people that would kiss a*s working there.
If you did not do as good as they thought you should do, then they would make you feel like crap and compare you to others. The manager would come in whenever she felt like it, as would a few of the other people, yet their time cards never reflected that they would get there late.
