So I have a new customer that has 2 high rise building. Got 1st job and David gives me a bid and I say ok but he doesn't have many tools. I explained we would make it work. Job went ok.....at end I go out to job to make sure punch list is done before final payment. Get to Post Oak Towers and no David and no tools.
Look around for my customer to inquire about David. No customer. Asked around a little more and find out they are in the other tower. I find David and he is working with my tools on a deal he cut with my customer to do another job cheaper. Middle man got bumped out! Now that's a real thief!!
My customer was a SCRUB too!! I explained that if you take money out of my pocket I will return the favor. I took my tools and left. He was unable to finish without right tools and customer had to find another Drywall contractor. Yes I did get paid and yes I enjoyed spending David's $.
I have been approached like that before but never cut out the person that gave me the job. It's a gratitude thing.................. Hope he changed after all these years. Wish Ripoff Report wouldn't smear someones co. without hearing the whole story but some people are into that stuff......#1000.00

I have know Kerry Allen for years, and he is a real stand up person. You couldn't ask for a better person as an employer or friend. I think that if this person had a problem with Mr Allen, there are many legal ways to go about retrieving the money owed. This complainer failed to mention any facts at all except that an amount was owed to him. More than likely, there is a whole lot more to this story than what I've heard thus far. It has been quite so long ago without an update, I wonder what had happened.

Sue in small claims court for backwages and punitive damages. Keep in mind that if you win no one can enforce him to pay you. However you can file ab Abstract of Judgement and a Writ of Execution. This allows you to put a 'lien' on personal property (equipment used for his business or business vehicle). In the event he decides to sell or trade up he must pay you first. Its a lengthy process but the collar around his neck will be a constant reminder. Also it becomes public record. Dont forget to contact the BBB. Good luck
