I purchased a vacuum from Allergy Be Gone through Amazon. Several days later I received the following email.
"Dear whom this may Concern,
I am very sorry but a few days ago, you placed an order on Amazon for
The Hoover Linx Stick Vacuum for 1 penny and shipping. It was an error
Between us and Amazon. I am very sorry but we have to cancel the order
Because of this error. I will like to offer you a $10 Coupon off
Anything in Allergy Be Gone Store. Once again I am very sorry.
If you have any questions or would like to make any changes to your
Order; please contact our customer service department at 1-866-234-6630.
We appreciate your business and have a nice day!
Sincerely,

I later found the same vacuum posted for sale for $160. I called Amazon and they told me that I should ask for Allergy Be Gone to honor the price, as it was false advertising to list it earlier. So I did. I called and talked with Jason the owner. He has refused to honor the price but told me that I could use the $10 off coupon for the current price of $160. When I declined the offer he told me that I was a horrible person who wanted his company to fail and that a kind person would feel sorry for his predicament. Also that I probably wanted to purchase the vacuum to resell it on Ebay. Obviously I didn't as I would have purchased all 12 of them available on Amazon earlier.
I hope that this information helps a future potential buyer as even though you think you have completed a sale and have a confirmation from Amazon the seller may break that contract and refuse to honor the price. Just to try and get you to buy it for more later on.
