Well to be honest I do owe money to my electric company. 109.??. But I spoke to them and explained I fell two stories and broke my left leg and need surgery on my back. this happened on 3/9/05. I told them as soon as I get back to work I would call them but to stop calling every day. They said ok the first time. Since then I recive several calls daily and they use fowel language. they leave messages daily and generally harass me. I ask if the notes say what I told them and even offered my work comp. atty. phone #. The person said " i dont fn care pay the amount owed or we are going to sue you" This is a typical responce by thier people. There hav ben 1 or 2 that have been undrstanding but out of the litterally hundreds of calls ine gotten that is not saying much. What can i do to stop the harassment it is getting to the point that I want to go there and hurt somebody. They are so disrespectful and mean it gets my blood boiling.

You need to have both of them send letters to the electric company regarding your injury. Other than that it's just a case of what you told them. Do you realize how many excuses people give sometimes? That may be why they are slow to believe you. If they get proof (especially from your workman's comp attourney) will get them to believe what that what you are telling them is the truth. Also try and set a payment program for when you do get some money in. To most companies some is better than none. (I once paid 20 bucks a month on a past bill.)
