Allied Training Systems BIG RIPOFF waste of time and money - deceptive, misleading, and obnoxious Aberdeen Ohio
If you are planning on getting a CDL, do yourself a favor and avoid Allied Training Systems in Aberdeen, Ohio at all costs! You will be sorry if you don't heed this warning.
I went there briefly and the "instruction" is a joke. The owner is obnoxious and arrogant. I suspect he might also be a little bigoted - he was always making cracks about Mexicans. I know of at least three people whose cell phones "disappeared" while they were there.
Half the people who sign up never graduate. Owner not great about giving refunds, either - his attitude is "sue me", probably because most people will never bother. I graduated but the only place that would hire me when I got done was Swift or Western Express. Then again, they'll hire ANYBODY I've heard. Hell, if I'd intended to go there, I could have trained through them for free.
Do yourself a favor - if you plan on getting a CDL, do your homework first. You'll probably start out with a big carrier anyway, so maybe look into the training programs offered with no upfront money. Most big carriers have their own
