Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was ripped off for $50.00 with the promise of a guaranteed credit card. It was no more than a list of credit card companies to apply to, which I could have done on my own. Company would not respond. I do not have any way of contacting them-no address, no phone, nothing. I cannot even get to them through the internet. My bank was no help. Please warn others of this scam. Where can I go to for help.I was dumb, but thank God it only took $50.00 to learn my lesson. I will never again purchase anything off the internet, which makes it bad for legitimate businesses. This company must be stopped.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sat, March 22, 2003

Angie Please think about what I am going to tell you. Over 70 % of the US population have had or have some speed bumps in their credit history. One of main reasons consumers have speed bumps in their credit history, is because they have never been told the truth as to how it all works. It seems to me that the industry has been programming the public to spend, spend and keep spending. In other words, Stay in debt so the credit card companies and banks can charge you high interest rates and a bunch of Whacked fee's. I feel that the credit industry, banks and car dealers do not really want you to know the truth about the value of your credit. You not knowing the true buying power of your credit will do one thing for the banks, car dealers and mortgage brokers. You know knowing the true buying power will allow them to set you at a much higher interest rate when you make a purchase. "Their gain will be your pain". Soon I. The Great Thorn will be revealing what they do not want you to know. I feel that it is my job to help www.ripoffreport.com to protect my fellow Americans from deception. I have been doing a lot of work posting help for car buyers. People who have been ripped off, scammed and lied to by the dirty car dealers of America. I know that I have the ability to be a big Thorn in their sides and I love it. You might say their Pain is my mental Gain, and it feels so good. It is a pleasure that to drug can match. Being "The Great Thorn" to the dirty car dealers provides me with great pleasure that no one can measure. It is a true reward and pleasure that can't be purchase anywhere. I must give all thanks to the Rip Off Report for that great pleasure! I will continue to be a big Thorn in the dirty car dealer's sides, But I now will be spending so time working on this side, The credit side of the Rip Off Report to protect you victims of the credit industry. Angie If you really want a credit card for what ever reason, do the following. You need to go to a LOCAL BANK and open a checking account and a savings account first. You need to be willing to take some time to build a solid relationship with a local bank. I want you to set yourself up on a budget so that you can always and I mean ALWAYS put some money away EVERY PAYDAY! If you find putting some money away every week too hard, Kill your cable TV, kill your cell phone. Kill any bill that you can so you can put some money away every payday. I want you to be able to show your bank that you have the ability to save for a rainy day. If the bank sees that you are the type of consumer that does not like to spend every dime you get your hands on, things will soon change for you. Sometimes once you and your LOCAL BANK have a solid relationship your LOCAL BANK will send a "special consideration letter" to the credit card company that they are connected with when you apply for a credit card through the credit card company that your bank is connected with. This "special consideration letter" will be like a big brother to you. It will assist you in getting a credit card in a big way. I tell consumers to get a credit card through the bank they currently do their banking business through. Most who get credit cards sink into debt REAL FAST because they love to go shopping, you know buy anything that will make them feel better for a short time. If you need to feel good, go spend some quality time with one who loves you. The consumer of America likes to "FEEL GOOD" so they go shopping. Next thing they know, their credit card is MAXED OUT. doing that KILLS the value or buying power of their credit. Let me tell you a few things that I. The Great Thorn feel you should know. Better before then after you get a credit card. Let's say you now have a credit card and you have a $1000 limit. If you spend over $500, Which is 50%, you lower the value of your credit at that time. What I am saying, is If you had someone pull a credit report on you and it showed you had spent 50% of your limit, you lower your credit score. It has been reported to me, "The Great Thorn" that if you spend over 50% of your credit card limit, you lower your Fair Isaac Score by 18 points. If you spend less then 15% they add 15 points to your Fair Isaac Score. If you never spend over 15% you hold your score up. Most people love to go shopping for what ever. Doing this does not help you and your credit. By the way Angie if you open a checking and savings account, you will increase the value of your credit. Many people do not have a checking account much less a savings account. Every Friday they go to the bank that their pay check is from and cash it, stick it all in their pocket and go shopping. Next thing they know, is they can't wait until their next payday. Don't be too fast to get a credit card Angie. I have one with a $10,000 dollar limit. I use it one or twice a month and when the bill comes in I pay it in full. Angie when you get one, use it like I do. Spend what you NEED to and pay it back in full when the bill comes in. Think of it as a very short term loan. When the bill comes in Pay it in full. Trust me, if you have the ability to do what I do you can have a Fair Isaac Score like mine. The score range is 300 to 850. I truly hope what I have posted will help you Angie.
