Allstar Moving and Storage, Inc. Unauthorized charges, Milking the clock turning a 5 hour move into a 10 hour move! Chandler, Arizona
Allstar moving promised no additional charges for TVs, stairs, etc. and then charged me for them on the day of service.
I have an email confirmation that those charges would be waived.
They also milked the clock like crazy since they were charging by the hour. I had a 2 bedroom, 1,800 sq. ft house that they took 10 hours to move! I just moved there with the same amount of stuff 2 years ago and it took me and a couple of friends about 4 or 5 hours.
They also did not pack the truck properly and insisted on making a second trip, which they charged me for, back to the house to get the rest of my stuff.
We had three tvs and my husband ended up calling a friend at the last minute to help move two of them in his truck so we wouldn't be charged $49 each for them.
So, at the end of the day the movers would not leave my house without getting $700 in cash!
I was tempted to call the police.
I have made several calls to their claims department and left several voicemails for Yolanda and Andrew to get this resolved. Only one call was returned by Yolanda saying she would have to look into it and get back to me which she never did.
