Allstate hired a sub-par group of people, after we put our deposit down .. it wasn't that, it was their share, 2500, to shove us off on a co. Called LA ACTING STUDIO, unbeknownst to us. They did everything to breach the contract. They sent non-movers to pick up our stuff .. we requested prof. Estimator. He came out. They say we lied about what we had. We had 85 boxes, which is probably what the estimator said, then lied and said we had 200 boxes. They did not even pick up all our items, leaving the rest in the garage. Said they would be back next morning. Never showed up. I'm disabled and my Mother is 85. They told us to get uhaul! They did not show up in the contractual date range .. 2 days late. Breach of contract. If it wasn't in a box, they stole it, ie $600 rug doctor and $300 beanbag. They ruined the new house .. carpet, walls, doors, and trim. They didn't cover carpet as requested and we paid for bed covers .. didn't use .. queen memory foam beds pure black! They said since they couldn't deliver the day they wanted, our rep Kirk said dates were adjustable, thst they would hold our furniture hostage for yet another 1500. Allstate took 2500 just to turn us over to LA ACTING STUDIO, sounds like a moving co. Ha. Kirk would not call us back, when notified that not all possessions picked up. Then LA A S wanted another 3000. This move was from nm to az. We paid less for the move from va to nm w 11k lbs. And we had friends move all our heavy stuff, ie pool table, concrete statues. Trucks were horrible, no wonder they broke down, said they had a mechanic, Driver said that was a lie. One said apple a ND the other featherling's furniture. They broke the only items we cared about. They tossed boxes around so much, they split on all four corners. Only one spoke broken English .. most Russians. The one that spoke, hid in his truck w the ac. We couldn't communicate w the others to tell them what went where. We've always been satisfied w the care shown .. but not these people. Do yourself a favor and run away if they contact u. Don't go on the web and request quotes .. the cockroaches come out to eat us unsuspecting elderly and disabled.
