AllState Van Lines Relocation BEWARE: WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! Nationwide
Here are five reasons why you'll want to avoid using this company:
1. They make big promises that they do not keep. For instance, they promised that the same crew travels with your stuff in the same truck along the way. NONE of this was true.
2. They use unprofessional crews who don't know what they're doing. They don't use the proper forms, checklists or anything. They weren't even going to cover the furniture with padding until I requested it.
3. They were 10 days late beyond their latest delivery time. Kept giving me the run-around with no explanation while my daughter lived in an empty apartment, waiting and waiting. It turned out that the original driver was NOT with the same truck; the truck broke down, all my daughter's stuff (and others') was moved to another truck, there was no process to keep track of items, and the original driver -- the only one who spoke english, had to take a bus to meet up with the truck.
4. Upon arrival, they literally threw the boxes and other items into my daughter's apartment. Again, no numbered stickers to check against a checklist. And no English-speaking people. They lost two of my daughter's boxes with precious items -- never to be seen again.
5. The company offered us a $100 discount for being so late. They never issues that money to us. They repeatedly made lame excuses and had no accountability for this nightmare experience. "We can't control the drivers." Then whjy represent them as trustworthy?
We will never -- ever -- use them again and we hope you don't have to experience this typew of horrific experience of lost time, lost money and lost items -- with nothing but a form letter emailed to us at the end with ZERO effort to make good on any of their mess-ups. THE WORST.
