Ally Financial They're not the least bit interested in following the FDCPA Nationwide
These people call multiple times per day, sometimes in rapid succession. They have no debt with me, as I have never done business with them and I have no outstanding debt of any kind at any time.
Additionally, they are calling my father at both of his phone numbers, multiple times per day.
They lie on the phone about why they are calling. Their story is, they will stop calling (they dont), and they're trying to collect for someone who is not either of us.
They refuse to give their address.
I suspect they are calling over a long dead debt, lost when they foreclosed on and later sold a house at auction that we purchased. These calls started almost immediately after there was a well publicized issue at that house.

Today they have called so far (its 11:59AM) at 9:47, 9:48, and 11:11
I have them call blocked, but my phone still lights up and I thought I'd humor myself by actually talking to them (I had to call back, all they do is call and hangup anyway).
I plan to send a letter to their agent of service at CT Corporation System, 818 West Seventh Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017
they have an address in Philadelphia that their representative Danielle claims is for payments only. That is:

Their address as listed by my secretary of state is:

They appear to be... surprise... a Delaware Corporation. I do not have a Delaware address.
Following the FDCPA is obviously not something they're interested in.

So apparently these con artists have figured out I blocked their number, so they've sent over this collections (that has a different name assigned to it to tell me they're collecting on behalf of, before it was some arabic name I couldnt quite understand, now its some "Phillip" with an English surname) to a different department, apparently, based in Louisville, KY and all they'll tell me is PO Box (((Redacted))). The associated phone number this time is (((Redacted))).
I guess I have another address to CC my mail to.
BTW the liar I talked to today told me the same thing as the last one, they'll put my number in their system as do not call. That right there tells you the sunshine they blow up your rear verbally. If you want to have these people do anything, you MUST follow the provided legal channels. Anything they tell you verbally is pure nonsense and any phone discussion is a complete waste of time if you really want to end things.
