AM Press Association ripoff, scam, door to door magazine sales Miami Florida
I had a female stop at my address selling magazines so she could earn money to start her own business. I decided to order one magazine against my better judgement, but I felt sorry for her and would her a check for $12.50 and sent the receipt in to order the magazine.
This was September 30, 2005 and as of today date - February 15, 2006 no magazine, but the check was cash. I wrote many letters and no response. My next step is the get a copy of my cancel check and see how it was signed and report this and see if I can file criminal charges against these people. Even through this is a small amount, I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to blow money like this.
