On 9/11/2010 I bought a dress at Amazon's marketplace Macy's, the price was $194 plus shipping. The next day the order was cancelled and the reason given by Macy's was that they were out of stock. The same day that the order was cancelled 9/12/2010 the same dress was offered at Amazon Marketplace- Macy's for $398 in the size I had purchased previously. I sent another email to Macys and Amazon saying that I wanted my dress since they had it for the $194 I paid. On 9/12/2010, after I emailed Amazon saying that Macy's was offering the dress for a higher price, Amazon said that sometimes they post the price wrong. What a surprise today 9/13/2010 the dress is there at Amazon for $277, same vendor - Macy's.

This is a scam a product that was purchased and paid for should have been delivered for the $194 paid. Macy's lied to me saying they were out of stock; they lied to Amazon as well. Once I proved to Amazon that Macy's still had the dress (They were not out of stock); Amazon did nothing but say that price errors occur. Now imagine that you are in a store, you buy a dress and pay for it, then once you are about to pick your bag to leave they say "oops, we are out of stock". You can see the package there but you cannot have it. Then you see them repricing it for $204 more, and putting it back on the shelves...then they say, I am sorry you will get a refund". This is totally unacceptable.
