After trying to make contact with Amazon to complain about the poor level of service, there has been no response and apparently no desire to improve their service. I have tried professional and calm, and I have tried rude and obnoxious, nothing warrants any response.

The problem? After paying for HD quality videos I see a message that says (in short) that they may reduce the quality of the feed if they detect a line speed that cannot handle HD streaming. Of course, after the stream started there was a resolution that looked like an amateur video enthusiast was shooting on their back patio... big surprise.

The problem is not my line speed as I pay for the fastest service available from my provider. But, just to be sure, I contacted them anyway to have them test the line...no interruptions or problems.

Let's face it...Amazon sucks and they are not really interested in getting any better. Do not waste your time or money with this supposed "service." I promise you, you will be disappointed in their stream quality and speed.

I have prime and use Amazon's streaming.  It works just fine, no problem for me.  I have cox internet and it is fast, maybe that has something to do with it.  Or maybe fast in your neck of the woods is slow in comparison to everywhere else.  Their streams are faster and higher quality than Hulu and Netflix and they get content faster as well.
