I purchased a cell phone and service on amazon.com on 12/12/2005. At the time of purchase there was $150 rebate from amazon.com if I purchased a phone and service for one year between 12/1/2005 to 12/14/2005 to be submitted by 1/14/2006. I meet all the criteria for a rebate. I submitted for rebate on 1/5/2006. It stated that the rebate would take 8 to 12 weeks.

I went in to check on my status on 3/04/2006 and my status was that my product was wireless invalid. I called amazon and I was given some half-assed excuse and that my rebate would be re-entered into the system and take an additonal 8-12 weeks.

I checked on 3/31/2006. Same thing happened my rebate was wirelesss invalid. I called again and they said that was incorrect and that my rebate was in the system.

Well guess what I went in to check today 4/27/2006 and low and behold my rebate is wireless invlaid. It is now 16 weeks. I think that every time I called that they would re-enter it into the system for a few weeks and then take it out. I strongly feel that I am being ripped off. Please help.
