Ameri-Source Publications ripoff-Repeated FRAUDULENT BILLINGS Champlain New York
Over a year ago I received a phone call from someone at Ameri-Source explaining that we had a past due balance and that I needed to send them a check for $299.95 which represents the 2nd billing for a 4 year publication. I told her we did not advertise in their publication and she told me that we had already paid the 1st invoice. And as other companies have explained...yes we did send them a check two years prior for $299.95. This payment was sent in error! I argued with them, told them no one from our firm had ever authorized an ad and they continued to send several nasty past due notice and I refused to pay them.
After another call from them threatening collections I told them go ahead. I did not hear from them again until last week. Again they explained to me I owed them $299.95 and they were just verifing my address to send the invoice...Again I explained we DON'T do business with them...asked to be taken off their list and the woman I was talking to said I would have to call customer service...she was only the mail clerk verifing addresses. I asked her for the number which of course came up as a recording..."I'm sorry, your call..." the number she gave me was (877)825-7288. Then today I did indeed receive my new invoice for a 2 year listing in the amount of $299.95. We will NEVER pay this invoice nor any other that may be sent to us. I will report them to the Better Business Burea and send them a letter requesting them to take us off their list.
