Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

America Choice RV uses eBay Motors Auctions to sell RVs, and we "won" an auction on 9-1-14.  This dealership has refused to complete the auction sale and has not answered our numerous emails or phone calls.  The auction reserve was met, although apparently it was set too low by one of their employees.

On 8-30-14, we contacted the dealership by phone, and tried to get more details about closing costs, dealer prep fees etc.  At that time we pointed out that we noticed their was no reserve bid or the reserve had already been met, so if there was a problem with the reserve, there was plenty of time for them to correct an error or to stop the auction before it finalized.   This company is in violation of eBay's regulations and I quote "Backing out of the transaction because buyers didn't place a high enough bid and the seller didn't add a reserve price"...is not allowed!

Additionally, Florida Statute XXXII, Chapter 468.388 (7) governs auctions,  and once an auction has closed, the bid may not be withdrawn.

Cody and Scott are the "new" owners.  I have emailed each of them as well as 2 salesmen I talked to (Marc and Kevin).  No has returned, my emails.  We have called and left 3 messages for the owners to return our calls, to no avail.

America Choice RV owners and salesmen run and hide when they don't want to face the facts.  They refuse to return calls or answer emails.  It has been 10 days of trying to get America Choice RV to talk to us...so, here's my report...don't do business with America Choice RV

As explained to this customer several times the listing had an error on the reserve. The error was explained prior to ending of the auction. We have offered to let the customer speak to the eBay representative also. A SCAM would imply we profit by ill gotten means. We have never received a penny from this customer and would never intentionally defraud anyone. We have been screamed at, cursed at, and threatened by this customer to many employees including a 19 year old girl who just answers the phone saying hello. The customer did not pay for the RV and did not receive any harm/damages from our company. We have offered a below market price on the RV to make up for the mistake but this customer wants to pay pennies on the dollar for a vehicle. Nearly all of our customers and in general RVers are great people but we were forced to block this customer from even looking at our inventory per eBay's own suggestion. Its very unfortunate but we would recommend not doing business with them either. If anyone would like a further explanation of the WHOLE truth please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to explain. Neither owner has received any correspondence from this customer.
