My credit score is low because of the recession, medical problems and lack of employment. I needed a loan to help address some of my debts. I searched on the internet but was not having any luck. Then a phone call came from a group called the America Financial Freedom Group. The number was 818=453-1820. I talked with an agent with the name of Mickey Johnson. He was courteous and kind and offered me a loan that met with my situation. I needed only $500. I have been ill and my funds are somewhat depleted and I was happy to get a response that sounded somewhat reasonable. However, there was a catch! They told me everything but when I went to get the loan they said I had to have a voucher. The voucher turned out to be a Green Dot Money Pak and they said it had to be for the amount of the first monthly payment as well as a fee for the low credit score. I was to get the Money Pak and then call them with the numbers and the loan would be in my bank in no longer than one hour by them sending it as a ach wire. The cost of the money pak in my case was $150.00 and for this I would get $700 in my bank. They told me they would return the money pak payment once they put the loan into my bank so it was just a validation that i had funds to back up my loan. They told me this was necessary because of the amount of fraud going on. I did as told and then I received a phone call saying that my green pak card was used and there were zero funds on it. I would need to resend another for I tried to scam them. I knew that I had never given the number to anyone else but then they told me that perhaps my phone was tapped. In my desperate need for funds I borrowed another $150 and called in the number. After 20 minutes they called to say the the IRS needed $200 for the money I was to receive and my money was on hold. I could send the $200 and the money would be in the bank in an hour. I asked about how they received the word from the IRS and they told me that the IRS e-mailed them with my information and stopped my funds. By this time I woke up and realized these were scammers. I have turned them into the FBI and hope they get caught. I am not broke with no funds and my life is a mess. I have had cancer and other medical issues and this, to me, was more than unacceptable. My hope is that they are caught and put away so they can not hurt others ever again. May God help all of us who are being treated in this unfair and illegal manner. Please, do not let hurt you. They are lower than the worms that crawl underground and normally I forgive. It will be hard but I will pray that ehy mend their ways and learn if caught that this is out and out fraud. Those who do wrong to others will be paid back by society for they will truly lose their Freedom. Thank the Lord.
