 Travelocity sent a fax to the company I work at stating we could get a 5-day/4-night all inclusive 5-star resort Guarentee for $149/person. I figured there was a catch but I called anyways. Of course there was a catch, it was an additional $150 per person for services provided. So I paid that through AMERICA VACATIONS. I assumed it was a company working with Travelocity, which I still believe it is because when I called Travelocity, they didn't seem too converner and said their name wasn't in the billing so it has nothing to do with them...

After paying that amount, then the only room available was a room that was "$700 extra dollars and an additional $300 because it was the week before a holiday and $300 more for an additional booking fee." So I didn't know if I should throw away the $900 for me and 2 others because I Knew it was getting sketchy or pay the additional unexpected cost! So I paid the cost and was really annoyed and was paying much more than what was promised after I had already gotten conned into paying a certain amount. Then we had to get our airfare tickets. That was a process as well. I had to beg for the code and wait on the phone for hours to get it. Each time I would ask to speak with a manager, they would hang up on me, never come back to the phone for over 2 hours, or say there wasn't one available.

This happened again when I got to Mexico and the hotel said the all inclusive price was not paid. I waited for over 2 hours on hold for a manager with the hotel manager in Mexico on her office phone in her office, to just get ignored and no one ever came to the phone. This happened numerous times. When I spoke with my booking agent, she told me I had to call safe vacations, even though I didn't give consent for my information to go elsewhere. I called, they told me to call another company who said they had no record of me. Then I asked the manager at the hotel who it was booked through, she said hotel beds. I called hotel beds, they told me that they have no record of all inclusive and to call another company who said they had no record of me. I had paperwork saying it was all inclusive and we paid much more than what a room would have cost, which would have only been $700. No one could do anything and we had to spend much more money. My 2 friends only brought a few hundred for spending money. We barely ate or drank bc we didn't have enough money. It was absolutely ridiculous and I really hope something can be done for this fraudulent activity!
