American Airlanes , represents AMERICAN'S

i was on a trip to las vegas for a convention, on the way out , prior to board , they denied me to board unless ive purchase a new tiket do "inmigration procedure from DR"

(i had travel thru Miami numerous times and its the first time they do this)i explain sometimes i use a boat to come or go, but there was: you buy or stay at the airport.

they told me in the counter that i could "reshedule later" and use the tiket or credit towards other flight, since there was bording time and otherwise ill stay in las vegas and loose the plane, i purchase a second tiket. 00112175375229

i had a previous unused ticket issued already, the lady refuse to check it first and later said was not found.

i thought was hard to get to the USA , NOT TO GO AWAY!!!

i have now Two tickets , one DR-MIA-CUN, and a new one MIA-DR, for more that $800 us that i lost acording to their "new policy" "that changed due to customer feedback" so the customers are asking to loose their money????? wow!

i contacted thru mail on the web site more than two months ago, their response was their new policy explanation with a "post outgoing only " e mail adress with DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL furher comments go bak to the whole process again... when you go on line again the web site does not aloud to fill up a form cause there is one already with the reference ticket number, good way to keep complaints down!!!

so my first tiket was no good any more cause since January they explained me, changed their refund policy and tickets that you did not use, are non redimable for use even as acredit to another purchase with the same company,as i was told and wich is all i wanted and explained at the airport i could.

Went thru the process using othe other ticket number, (wise ha?)and on June 27th 06 i ive got :

we are currently experiencing higher than normal emails...

no wonder!!!

than i had it , i decided to call them LD, after the whole automatic menu, and several attempts got to Dallas telephone operator and very kindly i was told that was in Tulsa were ill be taken care, Called Tulsa and was told that Dallas has not forwarded the info ,fax them to both places LD, and so on....ping pong

since im spending now more dollars on long distance calls...

i found this woderfoul place to be heard and at list properly responded.

i was atended by AnnaMari E. Aldana-Basnyat

AA customer relations and Sean Bentel from AA customer relations too, as well as the AA refund customer service in Tulsa

IM TRAVELING LOTS MORE LOOKING FOR THE REFUND

THAT WITH THE ACTUAL TICKETS!!!

I should mention also that Las Vegas Airport front check inn both, seems to be a good buisness for AA, almost 80% off the customers were obligated to pay extra lugagge fees... non off them were very happy with this , or either with the manners to collect from the personnel in charge...

THATS MATERIAL FOR A WHOLE DIFFERENT COMPLAINT.

Reading through your post was most difficult. I've read through it several times, and can still make no sense of it. It would be most helpful if you rewrote the post in a fashion that is more understandable. Were you unable to redeem certain tickets that have been purchased? What reason was given? Where were you attempting to travel to? I understand that with the new 'homeland security' regulations, traveling by air can be quite complicated. However, if we don't know what the problem is, the other posters on here are unable to give suggestions on how to fix the problem. I hope by now that you've reconciled the problem, but if not, please try and state it in simpler terms that are more understandable. We'll be watching for an update.
