i had gotten a call from this company saying i had won a thousand dollar online shopping spree to ANY website of my choice, a 60 dollar GAS CARD, and a thousand dollars in restraunt coupons. Which all of these turned out to be something i would basically have to pay for first in order to receive any one of these, on top of paying for magazines. Which i did not want and told them i wasnt really in to reading any kind of magazines. They continued to push and finally i hung up. A few weeks later i began to get magazines and all these wonderfully crappy gifts in the mail. I didnt think anything of it until i got my CREDIT CARD statement. I called the number provided on my statement and tried to cancel the magazine order, they kept telling me i had three days from date of order to cancel and because i didnt cancel in the THREE days of hanging up on these people i was charged. i have continued to call and finally this last time i called i explained that i was having financal trouble and that ive been paying for these magazines for three months and was no longer going to pay.(just so i didnt ruin my credit) the man stated and i quote ( i dont give a S*** if youve been paying for them for three f***ing months or 3 years you can either pay me or i can send you to collection.) Now ive had to cancel my credit card, but not before they charged it once more, now ive been getting calls from them asking why i havent payed.
