Six weeks after the accident American Family decided to pay out on the car. I was low-balled by at least half. Thats nice huh?? Yeah thats what I thought, but hey thats how they rake in the money. Right? When I typed up the first report I had no idea what would go on soon after. I began to get severe head aches at least one a day back pain and shoulder pain. I go to a chiropractor get some x-rays and clearly see that my spine is out of alignment same thing with my neck. So guess what American Family? I am the victim!! After being treated like the bad guy here and treated like nothing more than some guy trying to swindle money from an insurance company. Everyone that I spoke to from American Family are by far the most uncompassionate souls on this planet. They speak to you in this tone, like they have the upper hand, your hands are tied. So you have to take what your given shut up and stop whining. Hell no!! First of all I am not going have my medical insurance cover the costs of the chiropractor for something one of your insured drivers caused. Thats why you are the insurance company right? If you wanna call yourself an insurance company then its TIME TO PAY UP!!! I have been in the service industry for years now. I meet new people everyday and the best form of advertising is "Word of Mouth". I tell this tale at least twice a day and my clients are outraged. Some to the point they have cancelled their policy with "AMFAM" What a disgrace you are to the insurance business. I do have an attorney and am just waiting now to see what kind of game "AMFAM" is gonna play next. This will probably be a long drawn out process. I will update once this BS has come to an end and American Family has hopefully done what is right.. We'll see but to be honest I have no faith in them at all. Hillis
