 Ryan from American Gold Label foods advised us that we were getting top quality meat at a great price (should have known better). He advised us that we could post date a check to 11/30/2015 that would not be cashed until then. He stated that all he had to do was call the office to verify that we didn't have any "bad check" flags. Due to him telling us that and that if we weren't satisfied, they would replace the food or refund the money, we would went for it. Besides, we thought he was being honest and just trying to make a living to provide for his family. Boy, were we wrong! Not only that, we have family that are in the in home delivery business and the customers are their first concern for top rated service! We first cooked New York Stips that oozed a thick slimy brown substance and the steaks all seemed to be different cuts of meat on how they cooked and separated. Didn't even taste like steaks. We had a steakhouse and never had our Top Quality meat cook or taste that way. We even cooked crab legs for six minutes and they were so soft that you couldn't even crack them and could twist the legs around your fingers without cracking them or splitting them. You're probably guessing how they tasted, but just in case; Horrible!!! Now, after being told that we could date the check out to 11/30/2015 and that it would not be cashed, LIE; it was cashed and the date was changed to 10/20/2015 without my consent! Thankfully, we had the money in the bank, but that was our mortgage payment that we can not pay due to them cashing our check unexpectedly. This company is a scam! The food is definitely not top quality! They change information on checks fraudulently and deposit when they decide! This company needs to be held accountable for their actions and what they do to honest hardworking single parents and elderly women (My daughter and I reside with my elderly mother) who can't afford this and is already doing what all they can! Ryan even commented on how an elderly woman wrote him a check to 11/30/2015 and showed it to us and how she expressed to him that all she has is her social security check and not to deposit till 11/30/2015. I feel bad for her because she was also a victim like us!
