Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
They misrepresent, fraudulently induce you into contract then weasle out. ie.send agents who put in used, shoddy air conditioner, with substandard methods, go out of business, next agent won't fix unit because prior agent did bad job. Agent broke unit and left. Agent looks for other work and refuses to do service call until you pay him to do other job or threatens voiding contract

1. Substandard agent installed used or old air conditioner, didn't level pan, didn't properly support it. Went out of business. Next agent wouldn't do service call due to bad prior installation.

2. Enticed me to pay for SEER air conditioner upgrade, and to get SEER service then sent a fat agent who refused to do the work because it was hot and a small space. He broke the end of the unit because he couldn't get into the space and just pried it open tearing it. Then he talked AHS out of the repair...first by saying there was hole in another tube somewhere. When AHS said that didn't matter under the SEER upgrade, he fabricated that the unit was dirty and therefore not covered. It wasn't. AHS told me I had no choice, but to cancel contract. then they did not refund the SEER upgrade. Customer service told me they should have offered a second opinion. I had to pay a local air cond. co. $75 for a service call who said it wasn't dirty, fixed the torn open parts and said it was against the other agent's licensing to have done it that way and certainly to have left it open and not put back. They put clorox in the line and said unit was fine.

3. Agent came to replace valve on water heater. My cost to do it myself was $17 and my time so I called them to do it. The agent looked all over the attic first for something that was not up to code. We don't have freezes in houston in attics, but he said I needed to replace the drain line with Cpvc piping instead of pvc which is now what the code requires. He quoted $210 to do that and wouldn't fix the valve unless I agreed to it. He also got them to say the contract with AHS was void unless I did that. I sent him on his way, replaced the pvc piping myself (half hour and cost of $7) Then when he came out with the parts for the water heater, he wanted to see the invoice for my repair. I told him I did it myself. He said he couldn't work on the water heater because the work had to be done by a licensed individual. BUT he would inspect my work for $75. He looked at the 6 feet of piping and said i did good work, charged $75 for that inspection THen did his work. AHS said I had to pay that or my contract was void.
