American Home Shield Failure to respond in a timely manner. Carroll Iowa
I have called AHS on two separate repair issues and the companies they hired to do the work were unresponsive. After the companies made the first visit to look into the problem and collect the $45.00 fee I need to make all follow up calls to insure that they would return.
The dishwasher was first reported in 9/02. It took me two months of phone calls to get the problem resolved. The dishwasher will get fixed sometime in April of 2004. I never received calls from Darby Electric to let me know they were having problems getting the right part. The lack of communications between Darby and I was poor. I had to call to resolve any and all problems.
The second problem was plumbing related with a company named Yelsits Plumbing. I call AHS about my bathroom and my kitchen sink. Here again they came out to see the problem and collect my $45.00 check.
About a week later after I called to see if the parts came in. Yelsits was out to my house on 3/18/04. I called two weeks later to see if they had my parts. They said yes and were at my house in a few days. The only problem there was that the fixed the bathroom but could not remember the kitchen sinks. So today 4/19/04 I sit here with no kitchen sink due to the flood the broken pipes caused.
