AMERICAN HOME SHIELD UP TO THERE OLD GAMES OF NOT HONORING THEIR WARRANTIES CARROLL Iowa
AHS contractor Cool Image Heating & Air of Apple Valley Calif. Came a week late not prepared with the tubing to correct heating that was not working correctly. I gave detailed information to his employee, Jennifer who answers the phone ane takes the order request.
I was told that she needed to get an approval from AHS and would call me back with an appointment. The owner of Cool Image came out with his employee and had him go into attic , the employee stated that the tubing was flatten and not connected. He stated he connected the damage tube but needed to purchase a new tube since this one did not work. I was charged a fee of $55.00 for a job that was not completed.
I was told by the owner James Vaugh of Cool Image that he could make a purchase at Home Depot for about $8.00 but needed approval from American Home Shield first! American Home Shield telephoned me to to tell me my cost would be $281.00 because the repair was not covered by my home warranty that I have had for over six years! I know that both AHS and Cool Image Heating & Air both Ripped me Off!
