I have a feeling you have left something out of this story. Loan officers do not usually repossess vehicles for being 30 days past due. You usually need to be 90 days past due. Did you have any prior late payments? Partial payments? Its also unusual that they won't let you have it back. Its in their best interest to let you have the car back. Normally you have to bring the account current, pay all the fees of repossession (such as towing and storage) before you can have the vehicle back. Have you spoken with a lawyer? Also, no it does not matter that you are pregnant, that has no bearing on the contract you signed and agreed to. This does suck, but it is their car until you pay it off and they do have the right to repossess.
