AMERICAN INVESTMENT BANKERS I purchased a vehicle in 2001 with financing thru this company. This loan was purchased by Crescent Bank in 2004., until recently I SALT LAKE Utah
In 2001 I purchased a vehicle with financing thru American Investment Bankers. The loan was bought by Crescent Bank in 2004. Until recently I was making payment , the year is 2009. After paying for several years and thinking this was satisfied, we received a notice from Crescent that the loan still had a balance. they threatened to repo the vehicle if we did not agree to the additional payments. We tried to negotiate a settlement numerous times, all with assorted employees (14 recorded on our records) to no avail. I 'm in the process of trying to rectify this some 8yrs later. Crescent Bank has sent me a payment history but after receiving it we noticed it starts in 2004. After speaking with them we were informed of the loan buy out and given the information for American Investment Bankers. I need to verify my payment from Oct 2001 to my first payment with Crescent Bank which started in Sept of 2004. Crescent Bank has recorded 77 payment paid for a 60 month loan. However they are saying that we still after 8 yrs owe them more. We too suffered financial hardships and do agree that we had some reduced payment and late charges added to this loan, but this is ridiculous.. I need to provide them with the payment I made for 3yrs to American Investment Bankers to prove that this loan must be satisfied. Can somebody please help!! they are prepared to take us to court and in the process of this dispute which is continuing for some time now, they have completely RUINED OUR CREDIT!!! any class action suit, any useful information is greatly appreciated. In my opinion both of these institutions are LEGAS SHILOCKS and it is imperative that someone put a STOP TO THEM...
