American Leisure Credit Card ripoff Sunrise Florida
I recieve a call about an unsecured mastercard with a one time fee of 199.90. I agreed to the terms that I would recieve a credit card and gave them my account number. I set up a date at the end of the month that the funds could be taken out of my account.
I later recieved another call I guess to confirm everything on my account and the person that I talked to told me that they had already sent everything out. I waited a while and started receiving non-sufficient fund notices from my bank.
I didnt know why I was recieving them and couldnt afford any more charges from my bank so I went to the bank to see what was going on.
This company not only took the 199.90 out of the account but then they started trying to take unauthorized withdrawals for 25.00 a few different times and they ended up making me bounce all of my checks that I had writtten for my monthly bills.
The bank had no idea what company was trying to take these withdrawals but gave me the 1-800 number that was on file.
I closed out my account and went home to call and see who this was and why they were trying to make withdrawals.
I got a recoring from the number that they had a temporary suspention against them and it gave the web address. I have not been able to contact anyone or get a response to my complaint. I'm out not only the 199.90 but also all the non-sufficient fund charges I recieved from the bank and companies that charge returned check fees.
