American Medical Responce Gross overcharge pushed sevice from one hospital to another with out asking me Medesto, California
I drove my self to the hospital after recieving a cut to my head that would not stop bleeding. I was told that they would help me better a mile North at the main hospital I had a friend with me but they told him to wait in the lobby. At this point I was almost passed out from loss of blood realy I have never seen so much blood in one place in my life. I had one severed artery and one severed vain. Any way the next thing I knewe I was in the abulence on my way. I remember asking this will cost a lot? the EMT said my insurance should cover it they had my information by then I have Anthem Blue Cross Smart Sense . After a week I got the bill from AMR oh my god! 2100.00 to take me one mile I would have had my friend take me why do you think I drove 40 miles from the accident scene! I was set up from the get go I am seeking legal advice next week my Brother-in-law is a corprate attorney from Virginia Wish me luck Chris C.B. Plumbing
